P2138. App sensor busted. Gonna check for continuity from the ecu to the pin on the sensor, if I dont get a signal then I have some soldering to do. If there is a signal, then I will replace the sensor. Turns out this isn't the transmission but I appreciate your help and concern. Will keep you posted. P2138 is the APP sensor (accelerater pedal postion). More than likely it is the sensor itself that is bad. Clear the code and see if the light comes back on, It may be an intermittent failure. The sensor is located under the hood by the right strut tower.
